After that, the Broncos scored on their second drive when Wilson connected with Sutton on a 12-yard touchdown pass to make it 14-7. Miami then scored again, putting Denver in a 14-0 hole in the first quarter. The Dolphins jumped out to an early 7-0 lead and the Broncos then went 3-and-out after coach Sean Payton did not challenge an incomplete pass from Russell Wilson to Courtland Sutton on third down.
